IGCleaner — Privacy Policy

Overview

IGCleaner is a Chrome extension that helps users automatically remove previously liked posts on Instagram via the visible web interface. IGCleaner is designed with a privacy-first approach: actions run locally in your browser, and the extension does not collect or transmit personal information to external servers.

Information We Collect

IGCleaner does not collect, store, transfer, or sell personal information. The extension does not use analytics, tracking pixels, or fingerprinting. It does not access your login credentials or private account data.

When you purchase a license, our payment partner ExtensionPay (which uses Stripe to process payments) may request information required to complete the transaction (such as your name, email address, payment method, and billing details). That information is collected and processed by ExtensionPay/Stripe, not by IGCleaner.

How IGCleaner Works

IGCleaner automates visible, on-page interactions on instagram.com (e.g., the Like Activity page) to perform the same actions a user could perform manually. The extension does not use private or undocumented APIs, and it does not scrape content beyond the page you open.

Local Storage

IGCleaner may use Chrome's storage to store:

• License verification data provided by ExtensionPay (e.g., license key status).
• Basic extension preferences (e.g., activation state).

No personal content, browsing history, or Instagram data is stored by IGCleaner.

Third-Party Services

Payments and licensing are handled by:

• ExtensionPay — payment and licensing.
• Stripe — payment processing for ExtensionPay.

IGCleaner does not receive or store your payment details.

Data Sharing

IGCleaner does not share, sell, or transfer user data to any third party. Payment-related data is collected directly by ExtensionPay/Stripe for the sole purpose of processing your purchase.

Security

IGCleaner performs its functions locally in your browser. We follow Chrome Web Store policies and minimize permissions to what is necessary for the extension to work. No remote logging or telemetry is performed by the extension.

Children's Privacy

IGCleaner is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect product, legal, or regulatory changes. The “Last updated” date will indicate the most recent revision. Material changes will be highlighted reasonably on this page.
